Influenced by her history in studio and performing arts, Tori often works with multiple mediums, combining her passions to create unique and striking works. Focusing on introspective themes of identity, self-discovery, and mental health, she creates not only to develop a better understanding of herself, but also to connect on a deeper level with her audience.
Laurel Higman is a true Floridian; born and raised in Gainesville, Florida. She is a portrait and editorial photographer and has been photographing for over ten years. She seeks to create aesthetically pleasing and innovative imagery while empowering and inspiring the sitters and viewers alike to be their authentic, beautiful selves. In her thesis series, she is exploring the world of self-portraiture and learning to expose and free herself from the shame that has entangled her and her story. She is learning to love the journey that is life while creating all along the way.
Robin Kovanda is a photographer and digital artist all in one. She spends the majority of her time in Photoshop and would be nothing without her magical Photoshop powers. She has been taking pictures since 2006 and Photoshopping since 2010. She relocated from the Chicago suburbs to Florida in 2013 and has been enjoying life in the sun ever since.
Brianne Lehan is a photographer and videographer whose goal is to educate others about important environmental issues. These issues typically revolve around animal activism, Florida ecosystems, and human impact on habitats. She pushes herself to learn new things about the world we live in every day.
Photographer Paul Nicklen said something once that strongly resonated with her and affirms why she became a photographer, "....Good science is essential, however, I find that photography and journalism are much more powerful tools when it comes to effecting change.”
